Position Summary

The Automotive Repair Specialist plays a crucial role in executing vehicle maintenance and repair tasks as assigned, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employ diagnostic tools to detect mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle-related issues.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and various automotive systems as specified in repair orders.
  • Work diligently to identify malfunctions and complete repairs within designated timeframes.
  • Collaborate with service advisors and the parts department to effectively prioritize and schedule repairs.
  • Perform thorough quality checks to ensure all repairs meet or exceed industry standards and determine if additional safety service work is necessary.
  • Address any discrepancies or issues promptly with the Service Advisor.
  • Engage with customers to comprehend vehicle problems and articulate recommended repairs.
  • Provide precise cost estimates and timelines for repair services.
  • Document all diagnostic and repair activities with accuracy.
  • Complete repair orders and maintain detailed records of services rendered.
  • Participate in factory-sponsored training sessions to stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and industry developments.
  • Attend training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dealership or similar automotive repair environment.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in utilizing diagnostic equipment and tools.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repair methodologies.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • All candidates must demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including background checks, MVR, drug tests, and valid driver license verification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with Hyundai vehicles.
  • ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications.
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation (Hourly: Flat-Rate):

  • $50.00 / hour
    • Compensation is based on experience and certifications.
  • Longevity Bonus: Eligibility begins after 6 months of service, with bonuses ranging from $0.50 to $3.50 per hour.

Work Schedule:

  • FULL TIME
  • Sundays off
  • Monday - Friday (7:30am - 5:30pm)
  • 1 Saturday every 6 weeks (7am - 12pm)
