Imagingworks Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Imagingworks Professional to join our team at SGV Market Admin. As an Imagingworks Professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a radiology medical setting.

• Provide hands-on learning, training, and experience in a radiology medical setting.
• Assist MRI Technologists, Radiologists, and/or administrative staff to provide optimal MRI safety and patient care.
• Convey patient history to the MRI Technologist for accurate MRI safety and assist with MRI procedures.
• Perform high-quality DEXA (Bone Density) and diagnostic radiographic services on patients, within the legal scope of licensure.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams and recognize patient discomfort or medical problems.
• Respond to physician questions regarding exams and provide excellent patient care.
• Coordinate with office staff for timely care of patients and cross-train as needed with patient registration and other departments.
• Operate imaging equipment correctly, position patients correctly, and explain radiology procedures to patients before performing exams.
• Practice radiation protection, evaluate radiographs and/or DEXA scans for technical quality, and maintain patient records and filing systems.
• Prepare supply orders, maintain equipment, and keep work areas clean.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images and/or bone density scans on time while providing excellent patient care.

• Must have one of the following: a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Possesses and utilizes excellent customer service skills, strong public relations skills, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and organized, possess clerical skills, and have the ability to interact effectively with doctors, referring doctors and staff, patients, vendors, peers, and management.
