Job DescriptionJob Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Specialist to join our team. As a Support Specialist, you will work closely with individuals to develop and maintain skills that promote daily living and social skills. You will engage in activities that support individuals in living more independently within the community and participating in community life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist individuals in developing and maintaining skills to improve daily living and social skills
- Engage in activities with individuals to promote independence and community participation
- Maintain annual 24-hour training requirements
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Compassionate and willing to care for the well-being of others
- Valid Driver's License and existing insurance
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Flexibility to allow for individual assignments
