Job Title: Residential Therapist

UHS is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Therapist to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to patients and families.
  • Act as a liaison between the treatment team, physicians, referral sources, community agencies, and third-party reviewers.
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to the master treatment plan.
  • Ensure discharge planning is complete and contribute to discharge summaries as assigned.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • Must be licensed in Ohio as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
  • Previous work experience in a mental healthcare facility is highly preferred but not required.
Skills/Traits:
  • Ability to communicate information in a positive manner with all levels of people, and age groups.
  • Maintain professionalism in dealing with referral sources within the community, patients, families, and staff members.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Organized and possess strong administrative and time management skills.
