Healthcare Professional

MaineHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Central Staffing Float Pool at Pen Bay Medical Center. This unique opportunity allows nurses to expand their knowledge base and sharpen their skill set by training on various units within the hospital.
The ideal candidate will possess adaptability, critical thinking expertise, and the ability to transition between departments, including medical-surgical, critical care, inpatient behavioral health, and emergency. A per diem position for the day shift is available.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal care
* Float and work within a variety of hospital inpatient settings and the Emergency Department
Requirements
* Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
* License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required
* Experience: Three years of acute care experience with one year of critical care experience required
* Additional Skills: Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RN assisting Laboring Women required
