Job Title: Refrigeration Mechanic

Johnson Controls International is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team in North America. As a key member of our HVAC business, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and success of our organization.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HVAC and refrigeration systems, with a minimum of three years of practical experience in Residential and/or ducted products, air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, AHU's or Roof Top ducted units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality service to customers, resolving facility inefficiencies and service-related issues.
  • Work collaboratively with other local market mechanics to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Travel up to 20% to support Branch Customers startup and commissioning activities, as well as aftermarket service trouble shooting.
  • Enroll in training programs and JCI's Service Technical Academy to gain knowledge in HVAC products and sales quoting.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three years of practical working experience on Residential and/or ducted products, air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, AHU's or Roof Top ducted units.
  • Strong HVAC/ mechanical troubleshooting experience.
  • Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, and valid driver's license.
