Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Capital Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment, positioning patients to produce diagnostic images, and performing related duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
  • Perform technical procedures utilizing ionizing radiation, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative
  • Recognize the importance of prioritizing patient care and delivering exceptional quality as a technologist
  • Perform examinations on patients of various ages, from neonate to geriatric
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician certification within 1 year of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification
  • State of Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist certification
  • Associate Degree in Radiological Technology
  • Knowledge of axial anatomy and background in special procedures, E.I biopsies, and basic knowledge of catheter and biopsy
