Job Summary:
As a Meat Cutter at Costco, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing raw meat for sale using various equipment. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut and trim raw meat to meet customer specifications
- Operate and maintain meat grinders and other equipment
- Clean and sanitize the meat preparation area to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet sales goals and customer demands
- Stay up-to-date with new products and promotions to provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a meat cutting or food preparation role preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
