Healthcare Scribe

The role of the medical scribe involves supporting the physician by meticulously recording the details of patient interactions as they occur. This position requires anticipating the physician's needs to enhance the efficiency of the clinical environment. Additionally, the scribe may assist the physician with various department-specific responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. A minimum of one to two years of experience in the healthcare sector, OR

2. A relevant combination of education and experience.

OR

1. A licensed allied health professional such as RN, LPN, RMA, CMA, or a certified/registered technician in fields like orthopedic, surgical, ophthalmic, or pharmacy, OR

2. Medical assisting with at least two years of nursing experience, OR

3. An associate degree or higher in a related field of study, OR

4. Previous experience as a scribe in a medical setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Familiarity with healthcare terminology and processes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in grammar and spelling.
