Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Azure Security Engineer with a robust background in Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Azure's capabilities for Single Sign-On (SSO), OpenID, Federated SSO, and SAML 2.0. This position focuses on the design, implementation, and maintenance of federated identity solutions to guarantee secure and efficient access across various platforms and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation: Develop and manage Azure Active Directory (AAD) federation solutions to facilitate SSO and secure access across both cloud and on-premises environments.
- Federated SSO Management: Set up and oversee federated SSO integrations utilizing protocols like SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect to ensure seamless user authentication experiences.
- Security Compliance: Establish and uphold security policies and best practices for identity and access management, ensuring adherence to applicable standards and regulations.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for federated identity and authentication challenges, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain thorough documentation for federated identity solutions and deliver training to IT staff and end-users as necessary.
- Proven experience with Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Azure, emphasizing federated identity solutions and SSO.
- Expertise in implementing and managing federated SSO using SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
- Familiarity with Azure AD Connect, Azure AD B2C, and other Azure identity services.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues.
- Excellent communication abilities, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as SC 300 are advantageous.
