Transdev Operators are essential in providing transportation services throughout Rockland County. Our operators play a crucial role in connecting individuals to employment, healthcare, education, and recreational activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Safely transporting community members in a transit vehicle in a timely and professional manner.
  • Welcoming passengers and processing fare payments.
  • Documenting all incidents, accidents, and mechanical issues as required.
  • Performing additional duties to ensure a safe and pleasant journey for our passengers.

What you need to succeed:

  • Professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
  • Commitment to safety.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Possession of a Class B or higher Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Passenger Endorsement.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Enjoyment of driving.
