Job Title: Street Maintenance Worker

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Street Maintenance Worker to join our team at the City of Pasadena. As a key member of our public works crew, you will be responsible for performing manual tasks involved in the maintenance and construction of streets, walkways, parks, lawns, ditches, storm sewers, and sewage plants.

**Responsibilities:**

* Perform manual tasks such as digging, building forms, tying rebar, spreading and leveling sand or rock, and assembling/disassembling wooden forms.
* Work on concrete crews, asphalt crews, jet truck or camera crews, and other teams as assigned.
* Prepare sites for construction, repair cave-ins, and perform other essential functions depending on work location, assignment, or shift.
* Must have and maintain all necessary licenses, certifications, clearances, and/or job requirements.
* Comply with the City's timekeeping and attendance policy.

**Requirements:**

* Valid Texas Class C driver's license and good driving record.
* Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting and carrying, kneeling, crouching, and bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching, and standing for prolonged periods.
* PREFERRED: Knowledge or experience in construction trades such as concrete work, pipe work, or general labor.
