We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional care in our High Risk Oncology department. This role is essential in supporting our healthcare team and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Work ScheduleThis is a full-time position with a daytime schedule.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs an LPN, you will:
- Assist in the evaluation of patients and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for any adverse effects.
- Conduct laboratory tests and provide therapeutic services as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, self-care post-discharge, and available resources for ongoing care.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A valid BLS Provider certification obtained within one month of hire.
- A Practical/Vocational Nurse license from the appropriate state board prior to starting.
Additionally, candidates should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, or at least one year of relevant experience.
