Truck Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Truck Technician to join our team at Papé Trucks, Inc. in Kelso, WA.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks in our shop, ensuring accurate and timely work to support our customers and maximize their uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bumper-to-bumper repairs on class 7 & 8 vehicles
  • Work on heavy-duty trucks in the shop, using electronic engine software and computer literacy
  • Collaborate with other trained technicians in a supportive and resourceful environment
  • Meet productivity and quality standards, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • 3 or more years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 vehicles
  • Diesel tech degree and mechanical aptitude/background
  • Computer literacy and experience with electronic engine software
  • Drivers license with a good driving record
  • CDL is preferred
  • Must provide own tools
