Job Description:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with complex health needs.
- Assume responsibility for a group of patients and coordinate their care.
- Document patient responses to medical treatments and interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians to examine patients and perform diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor patient physiological data and intervene when necessary.
- Administer medication and manage intravenous infusions.
- Deliver patient-centered care.
- Communicate with patients and families about care plans and hospital procedures.
- Refer patients to appropriate personnel for additional care.
- Delegate tasks to support staff.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practices.
- Ability to organize and coordinate nursing services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to respond to cultural and language needs of patients.
- Basic computer skills.
Education:
- Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing from a board-approved program
