Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical nutrition assessments and provide personalized nutrition plans for patients with metabolic and diabetes-related conditions.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with corporate policies, State and Federal guidelines, and American Diabetes Association regulations.
  • Design and deliver educational programs and in-services to promote community and team member health and knowledge.
  • Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and Diabetes Self-Management Education to patients based on their individual needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest diabetes-related technologies and integrate them into patient care plans and education.
  • Maintain accreditation as an ADA Education Center and ensure compliance with all relevant hospital regulatory agencies.
  • Review industry publications and websites to ensure standards of practice are met.
  • Obtain CDCES certification within one year of hire, if not already certified.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, Home Science, or a related field.
  • State of New Jersey licensure as a Registered Dietitian.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, Home Science, or a related field.

2-3 years of experience in acute care clinical nutrition or a relevant area, with Epic experience preferred.
