About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at JAG Physical Therapy. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries and illnesses, and achieve their goals for optimal health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and record patient care data, including initial evaluations, daily notes, reassessments, and discharge plans.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and their support systems to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their support systems on proper techniques and strategies for recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Conduct functional training, including activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), therapeutic activities, and community reintegration.
  • Prescribe and train patients on the use of rehabilitation equipment.
  • Provide interventions that are safe, effective, and in compliance with JAG Physical Therapy's standards.
  • Oversee support staff, including physical therapist assistants (PTAs), athletic trainers (ATCs), and physical therapy aides.
  • Attend annual JAG Billing and Coding seminars to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
  • Promote JAG Physical Therapy in the community through lectures and presentations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Completed state-regulated continuing education unit (CEU) requirements.
  • Valid CPR license.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times.
