Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at JAG Physical Therapy. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries and illnesses, and achieve their goals for optimal health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and record patient care data, including initial evaluations, daily notes, reassessments, and discharge plans.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and their support systems to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide education and training to patients and their support systems on proper techniques and strategies for recovery and rehabilitation.
- Conduct functional training, including activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), therapeutic activities, and community reintegration.
- Prescribe and train patients on the use of rehabilitation equipment.
- Provide interventions that are safe, effective, and in compliance with JAG Physical Therapy's standards.
- Oversee support staff, including physical therapist assistants (PTAs), athletic trainers (ATCs), and physical therapy aides.
- Attend annual JAG Billing and Coding seminars to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
- Promote JAG Physical Therapy in the community through lectures and presentations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate degree preferred.
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
- Completed state-regulated continuing education unit (CEU) requirements.
- Valid CPR license.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work as a team member and independently with minimal supervision.
