Key Responsibilities- Perform clinical and clerical duties to support the healthcare team, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with minor procedures.
- Order and manage supplies, stock and rotate inventory, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with patient communication, including educating patients about diagnoses and treatments, and providing information about test results.
- Function as a receptionist as needed, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and registering patients.
- Perform waived lab testing, collect and prepare lab specimens, and assist with EKGs, spirometry, and other clinical procedures.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of work experience and/or training in clinical procedures and patient care.
