Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist to support data-driven decision-making in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and machine learning, along with proficiency in Python, NLP, Generative AI, and large language models (LLMs). Prior experience in the financial industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex datasets using statistical and machine learning models to drive actionable insights.
  • Utilize Python for data analysis, visualization, API integrations, and work with Linux OS, databases, big data technologies (e.g., Databricks, Spark), and cloud services.
  • Develop solutions for natural language processing (NLP) and generative AI applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and create data science solutions that support organizational objectives.
  • Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and visualization, including experience with APIs, Linux OS, big data, and cloud platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of NLP, Generative AI, and LLMs.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying insights to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with business analysis and Agile project management practices.
  • Preferred: Prior experience in the financial or insurance industry.
  • Analyze complex data using statistical and machine learning models.
    Use Python for data analysis, visualization, and APIs.
    Develop solutions for NLP, Generative AI, LLMs.
    Collaborate with teams to meet business requirements.
    Communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
    Work within an Agile framework (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
