Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a CT Tech. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care and working in a dynamic healthcare environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing professional duties involved in various technical procedures, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis of patients of all ages. They will also be required to operate highly specialized equipment to obtain quality images, perform IV contrast injections, and other skills as needed.

Responsibilities
  1. Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge of growth and development to provide appropriate care for patients of all ages.
  2. Equipment Operation: Operate highly specialized equipment to obtain high-quality images, including IV contrast injections and other required skills.
  3. Patient Care: Evaluate and position patients with high professional ethics, care, courtesy, patience, and safety.
  4. Regulatory Compliance: Comply with all Carilion Clinic and Imaging policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  5. Training and Development: Participate in the training of students and staff as assigned.
  6. Maintenance of ARRT Registry: Maintain ARRT registry and enhance personal and professional growth through participation in educational opportunities.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent; Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Experience: CT experience preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Must be CT registered within one year of hire; ARRT registry / valid BLS certification.
  • Other: Good interpersonal, technical skills, and flexibility in assignments.
