Job Summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Cashier II to join our team. As a key member of our quick service restaurant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment, and maintaining a high level of food quality.

Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly, accurate, and efficient service to guests
• Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
• Process transactions on a point-of-sale (POS) register
• Prioritize work according to kitchen and dining guest needs
• Maintain equipment per operating standards
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling and/or preparing food
• Establish strong communication and rapport with leaders and co-workers

Requirements:

• Dedicated individual who works well with others
• Basic computer/POS knowledge preferred
• Previous food service experience a plus
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
