Job Summary

The Supply Chain Management Intern will be responsible for analyzing and improving inventory planning and control processes, ensuring accurate and timely material availability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct material planning analysis to ensure inventory levels align with internal policies and monitor material availability, including deviations and discrepancies.
  • Send releases to suppliers according to internal processes and track issues during transit, including problems with trucks, customs, or receiving at the plant.
  • Analyze coverage reports to identify overstock or low stock, escalate issues in a timely manner, and conduct root cause analysis and demand analysis for midterm and long-term planning.
  • Perform SAP maintenance, including setting parameters according to internal policies and tracking KPIs, and create monthly reports for inventory control and supplier delivery performance.
  • Participate actively in value stream and department teams to drive process improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Engineering required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred student pursuing a career in Supply Chain Management
