Position Overview:

Emerald Resource Group is in search of a talented and enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer. The successful candidate will be tasked with the design, development, and upkeep of IT solutions and systems. This position necessitates proficiency in client-server architecture, web application development, SQL Server management, and ongoing support to guarantee smooth integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop effective client-server applications and web solutions.
  • Define and implement SQL Server objects to enhance database efficiency.
  • Maintain and develop codebases, data structures, and thorough documentation.
  • Collaborate with fellow developers to diagnose and resolve intricate development and performance challenges.
  • Ensure smooth integration of development projects within our existing framework.
  • Provide proactive monitoring, system/application troubleshooting, and general support to maintain 24x7 system availability.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in developing applications within Microsoft's .NET framework.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of T-SQL and experience in database design and normalization.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Access, Visio, etc.).
  • Strong skills in design, development, coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
