Position: IT Deployment Specialist


JFR Staffing is seeking skilled IT Deployment Specialists to assist with various managed deployment initiatives in educational institutions and government agencies.

This role will primarily involve travel to various client locations across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidates will be responsible for one or more of the following tasks:

  • Setting up new laptops, Chromebooks, desktop computers, and printers for educational and governmental organizations.
  • Configuring user settings according to client specifications and organizational standards.
  • Removing outdated systems and relocating them as directed.
  • Preparing new equipment in the warehouse for distribution.
  • Processing legacy equipment for proper disposal.
  • Reporting issues to the project lead.

Note:

The scope of these projects does not encompass:

  • Hardware or software troubleshooting.
  • Networking setup or troubleshooting.
Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of A+ certification or equivalent educational background.
  • Capability to lift over 25 lbs. for extended periods.
  • Must pass background checks with clean records.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
