We are seeking a skilled Bakery Associate to join our team at Smith's Food and Drug. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience through exceptional service and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

• Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions, making product recommendations, and offering samples.
• Prepare bakery items to customer specifications using proper equipment and techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborate with the department manager to achieve sales and profit goals, and monitor quality assurance standards.
• Embody the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of food handling procedures.
• Current food handlers permit (once employed).
