Pain Management Specialist

Pain Management Physician Role
At Tarzana Treatment Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate pain management physician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing pain and related symptoms in our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessment and develop customized treatment plans that effectively manage pain and promote improved quality of life
- Perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including joint injections, nerve blocks, and other minimally invasive interventions
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to ensure comprehensive pain management for patients with complex needs
- Document patient care and treatment plans in electronic medical records systems in a timely and accurate manner
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to pain management in our organization.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Pain Medicine and/or Anesthesiology; eligibility to hold medical licensure in the state of practice
- Current BLS/ACLS certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, patients, and families from diverse backgrounds
