Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician certification as per BACB standards
  • BCBA student status preferred but not mandatory
  • Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation are essential
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be at least 18 years old at the time of hire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Provide direct one-on-one assistance to individuals with developmental challenges
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor individual progress and inform decisions
  • Assist in the creation and execution of personalized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and team members to ensure effective intervention implementation
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates and address concerns
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and progress reports
  • Participate in ongoing supervision and training sessions for professional growth

Physical Requirements:

Physical capabilities include walking, occasional running, standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, reaching overhead, pulling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
