Amergis is seeking highly motivated Behavior Technicians to work in school settings. As a Behavior Technician, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adults with special needs.

About the Role

This is a full-time or part-time position with a competitive salary range of $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing behavior management techniques, providing crisis intervention, and reviewing and implementing behavior intervention plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior management techniques in the form of prevention, intervention, and consequence strategies.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support students in developing independent daily living skills.
  • Review and implement behavior intervention plans and assist students in achieving their goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, BCBA, and other professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of pediatric experience preferred.
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
  • Current CPR certification (if applicable).
  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable).
  • Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
  • Successful completion of new hire training (as applicable to job site).
