Job Summary:

The United States Postal Service is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the Mail Handler Assistant position. As a Mail Handler Assistant, you will play a critical role in the processing and handling of mail, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to customers across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort and handle mail to prepare it for shipment to the next destination
  • Perform a variety of functions to accomplish the processing of mail, including sorting, handling, and preparing mail for shipment
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of mail, maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives

Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
