We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Cardiology Technician to join our esteemed Cardiology department at Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Manage patients with early to advanced heart disease via outpatient appointments with serial diagnostics
- Participate in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and education of owners about cardiac diseases, prognosis, and homecare
- Utilize different modalities of imaging for patient and procedural assessment
- Assist in both outpatient and surgical procedures
- Provide empathy, comfort, and unparalleled nursing care to all patients, be a strong patient advocate during hospitalization
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience required
- 1-2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician, CVT preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Diligent worker who takes initiative and contributes to the operation of the entire hospital
- Competitive hourly wage ($23-$30)
