We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Safe Passage Driver to join our team at Lifetime Assistance. As a key member of our transportation department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of individuals with developmental disabilities.

About the Position

This is a part-time position requiring approximately 26 hours per week, working Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting clients to and from day programs, using their excellent driving skills and attention to detail to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all passengers.

Responsibilities

  • Transport clients safely and comfortably to and from day programs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including CDL requirements and 19A certification
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transportation services

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid NYS Drivers License and the ability to obtain a Commercial NYS Drivers License (CDL)
  • 19A certification within the first 6 months of employment
  • First Aid/CPR certification and C-PAT training
  • The ability to lift, move, and transfer up to 50 pounds
