Job Title: Swim Instructor

About the Role:
Goldfish Swim School is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students of all ages and skill levels how to swim and water safety skills. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and positive learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach students of all ages and skill levels how to swim and water safety skills.
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to parents.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and other staff members.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, and/or childcare provider required.
  • Two or more years of experience as a swimming instructor required.
  • Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification required.

Work Environment:
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing excellent customer service to students and parents. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.

Compensation:
$18.00 per hour.
