Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Mammography department. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing radiographic and mammography procedures, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic and mammography procedures, including administering X-rays and radiopaque substances to patients
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and rooms
  • Assist radiologists in the administration of intravenous and subcutaneous materials
  • Follow prescribed techniques in administering general and specific X-rays, adjusting equipment as needed
  • Ensure images are transferred adequately to PACS and radiologist workstation
  • Observe patients and machines during procedures and report any unusual occurrences
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiographic Technology
  • Minimum of one year of Radiography experience, with one year minimum in mammography
  • ARRT Radiography Certification, Registered ARRT in Radiography and Mammography
  • Licensed by the NJ Department of Environmental Protection
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support, BLS-American Heart Assoc.
