Key Responsibilities- Lead independent research projects and conduct experiments contributing to the lab's research programs.
- Plan, execute, collect, analyze, and prepare manuscripts for publication.
- Train and mentor incoming graduate students.
- Work independently or as part of a team to achieve research goals.
- Conduct research activities including working with mice, collecting and analyzing biological samples, and managing mouse colonies.
- Utilize advanced cell biology, biochemistry, and molecular biology techniques.
- Develop and maintain exceptional organization skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and data analysis software.
- Master's or Ph.D. in biology, biomedical science, or related field.
- Experience working with viruses and their propagation.
- Experience working with mice.
- At least one primary author publication.
- Master's or Ph.D. in biology, biomedical science, or related field.
The selected candidate must have the mental and physical capabilities to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
