Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately calculate customer bills using the dealership's computer system.
  • Process cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers, ensuring accurate recording on the repair order or counter ticket.
  • Provide correct change and issue receipts to customers.
  • Answer phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate departments, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Address customer complaints with professionalism and refer issues to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
  • Operate the switchboard telephone system effectively.
  • Communicate with callers in a friendly, professional manner, aiming to minimize hold times.
  • Assist management with various clerical tasks as required.
  • Maintain a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • Familiarize yourself with departmental structures and internal procedures to assist customers efficiently.
Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to convey customer interests, needs, and requests to management and sales staff.
  • Professional appearance is essential.
  • Must possess a clean driving record.
