We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MRI Technologist to join our team at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord, North Carolina.

About the Position:

  • This role involves working closely with our Radiology team to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conducts thorough patient assessments, verifying orders and consulting with Radiologists as needed.
  2. Prepares patients for procedures, providing clear explanations and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  3. Reviews patient medical history, identifies relevant clinical information, and documents data accurately.
  4. Operates MRI scanners and associated equipment with precision and accuracy.
  5. Administers IV contrast according to protocol, recording details as necessary.
  6. Evaluates image quality, recognizing abnormalities and initiating further processing as required.
  7. Collaborates with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care.

Education and Certifications:

  • A graduate degree in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program.
  • Active ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, with advanced registry in MRI within one year of hire.
  • CPR certification required.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • An estimated salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
