We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse - RN/LPN to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate the physical and psychosocial needs of residents, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care, provide technical support, and document resident interactions and outcomes.
- Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans, promoting resident education and self-care.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and service to our residents.
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing, with multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
