We are in search of a driven and meticulous Lead Tax Consultant to enhance our public accounting division.

Key Duties:

• Prepare and evaluate federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities.

• Conduct comprehensive tax research and remain informed about current tax laws and regulations.

• Offer tax planning and advisory services to clients, providing strategic insights to optimize tax obligations.

• Assist clients during tax audits and resolve tax-related challenges.

• Identify and implement process enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the tax department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (required); CPA or EA certification (preferred).

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in public accounting with a concentration on tax.

• Comprehensive knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• High attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
