Job Overview

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture is seeking a skilled Agricultural Data Collector to collect crop and livestock information from Farm Operators and Agricultural Industry Representatives.

Data collection involves both phone and in-person interviews, with the information used to make estimates of agricultural data for producers, buyers, state and federal governments.

This is a part-time, intermittent position with flexible days and hours, and all training is provided.

A background in agriculture is beneficial, and basic computer skills are required, with all work submitted on an iPad provided.

Multilingual individuals are preferred, and a valid driver's license and automotive insurance are necessary.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting data from the following counties: Washington, Yamhill, Multnomah, Marion, Clackamas, Polk, and Columbia.
