Occupational Therapist Position with Rehabilitation Focus

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at JAG Physical Therapy. This role involves working with patients to assess their strengths and weaknesses, creating personalized treatment plans to improve functional independence.

- Collecting and recording patient care data in accordance with department policies and regulatory agencies.
- Conducting initial evaluations, daily notes, reassessments, progress reports, and discharge plans.
- Preparing for evaluations by obtaining patient history and researching unfamiliar diagnoses.
- Selecting and administering tests and measures.
- Formulating diagnoses, goals, prognosis, and plans of care based on evaluation results.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is required; a Doctorate degree is preferred.
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is mandatory.
- Completed state-regulated CEU requirements in the relevant state (NY, NJ).
- Valid CPR licensure.
