We are actively seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nursing Specialist in the Mother Baby unit.

Job Description:

This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during the postpartum period. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring both patients for signs of complications, administering medications as prescribed, and performing routine assessments of maternal and newborn vital signs.

The ideal candidate will also provide emotional support and education to new mothers, focusing on safe and effective infant care, breastfeeding, and self-care post-delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a mother-baby, postpartum, or labor and delivery setting
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathetic patient and family-centered care
