We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN specializing in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) care. This role involves working in a dynamic environment with a focus on obstetric and neonatal patients.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Preferred Certifications: ACLS, NRP, STABLE
Job Details
  • Specialty: LDRP RN
  • Number of L&D Beds: 15 total (7 L&D, 8 Postpartum)
  • Operating Room Suites for C-Sections: 1
  • Average Births: 58 per month
  • Patient Demographics: Primarily obstetric/neonates, including hypertension and gestational diabetes
  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:1 for high-risk drips; 1:3 for couplet care
Essential Skills

Successful candidates will possess:

  • Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Experience in travel nursing
  • Flexibility to float to Medsurg and ER as needed
Work Schedule
  • Shifts: To be determined
  • Weekend Commitment: Every other weekend
  • Holiday Commitment: Every other holiday
  • Floating Requirements: Yes, to Medsurg and ER
  • Orientation: 3 shifts of unit-specific training

  • OB/Neonatologist Availability: Not in-house 24/7
  • Anesthesia Availability: Not in-house 24/7
  • Tele/Monitor Technicians: Not available on this unit
