Auto Body Paint Prep Technician

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Paint Prep Technician to join our team at Auffenberg Dealer Group in Shiloh, Illinois.

The ideal candidate will have experience in auto body repair and painting, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

You will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, including wet sanding and buffing, and assisting the painter in making cosmetic repairs.

This role requires strong teamwork skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Assist the painter in preparing vehicles for painting, including wet sanding and buffing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients, employers, and other employees to plan and execute repair and prepping tasks.
• Perform job duties assigned by Management, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

• Experience in auto body repair and painting preferred.
• Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license required.
