Cedar Animal Hospital is a leading provider of veterinary care in Richmond Hill, Georgia, and surrounding areas. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Care Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to patients while developing strong relationships with their owners.
  • Perform physical examinations, surgeries, and dentistry, with a focus on minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, explaining physical examination findings and presenting treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine, attending Continuing Education meetings as needed.
  • Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure exceptional client service and high-quality care.
  • Represent the hospital positively in the professional community and to the general public.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Texas.
  • Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
  • The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members.
  • Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets.
  • Compassionate team player who can uphold a great reputation with clients.
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
