Job Summary

We're seeking a Senior Writer to join our team at Kosas. As a key member of our editorial team, you'll be responsible for crafting compelling content that brings our brand voice to life. Your expertise will span from writing engaging social media copy to assisting with product naming and campaign concepting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute key messaging across various channels, including social media, email, and paid media.
  • Write high-quality social media and SMS copy that resonates with our audience.
  • Stay up-to-date with cultural and social trends to identify fresh content ideas that drive performance on key digital channels.
  • Collaborate with our design, marketing, and other teams to develop and align on copy for various channels.
  • Support the Head of Editorial Brand Strategy in creating impactful, on-brand messaging.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute content strategies that drive business results.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a copywriter, with a similar scope of responsibilities.
  • Exceptional grammar and proofreading skills.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Experience and passion for beauty, social media, and the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
  • Impeccable project management, organization, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with a defined brand voice.
  • Experience writing copy in various digital channels (site, social, email, etc.).
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • Familiar with project management platforms like Asana.
  • Based in Los Angeles.

The base salary range for this full-time position is between $115,000-$125,000 per year. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, skillset, education, and work location.
