Job Summary:

The Order Coordinator is responsible for efficiently picking products in the warehouse, placing orders on pallets and staging areas, and operating forklifts to pick products. This role requires accurate and productive handling of merchandise flow throughout the warehouse in a safe manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick orders from the carousel, main, flow racks/pick module, and other areas as necessary, using RF scanners for accuracy.
  • Operate Crown forklift stock pickers and reach lifts as primary picking equipment.
  • Read orders for shipping information, special instructions, product location, and quantity accurately.
  • Cycle count and maintain inventory control.
  • Work overtime as needed and adapt to changing priorities.

Requirements:

  • Experience with forklift operation and Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to repetitively lift up to 50lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read and do basic mathematics.
  • Understanding and response to written and verbal instructions in English for safety, work instructions, and policies.

Working Conditions:

  • Approximately 100% of the time performing job duties is spent indoors in a warehouse with limited heating or air conditioning.
  • The temperature of the work environment may equal to the outside temperatures of the area.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to the risk of electric shock.

Physical Demands:

  • Seldom lift from overhead or below the waist.
  • Occasionally bend, twist, push, pull, climb, squat, crawl, kneel.
  • Frequently reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stand and walk; grasp with hands and fingers; and lift (up to 50 lbs.).

Machines, Tools and Equipment:

  • Frequently use copier, fax, and 10-key calculator.
  • Continuously use writing instruments, computer, and telephone.
