Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ADSD Driver to join our team at Access to Healthcare Network. As a key member of our transportation team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of clients with mobility limitations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport clients to physician appointments, medical supplies, and groceries in a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.
  • Provide door-to-door service, ensuring clients' safety and comfort throughout their journey.
  • Act as an Access to Healthcare Network representative, providing information about other programs and services to clients.
  • Participate in driver training, safety, and wheelchair securement courses to ensure compliance with State of Nevada traffic laws.
  • Maintain accurate records of client transportation and trip activity via smartphone technology.
Requirements
  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
  • Valid Nevada Driver's license and a five-year DMV Record.
  • Pass a drug test upon hire and may be subject to random drug testing throughout employment.
  • Participate in and pass the PASS driver training, ADA sensitivity, safety, and wheelchair securement course established by AHN and the Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA).
  • Minimum five years driving a private vehicle, commercial vehicle experience preferred.
  • Minimum one year computer experience, including Microsoft operating systems and database input.
Work Environment

As an ADSD Driver, you will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with clients and colleagues daily. You will be required to stand for extended periods, sit in a vehicle for up to 6-8 hours daily, and lift up to 50 pounds with fair consistency.
