Applied Network Solutions, Inc. is looking for a TS/SCI w/ Polygraph cleared Senior Systems Architect - Level 3 to become part of our team.

Position Responsibilities:

This role involves analyzing user requirements, operational concepts, and high-level system architectures to formulate system requirements specifications.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Oversee and maintain the technical integrity of the system baseline throughout its lifecycle, updating it as necessary during development, deployment, and maintenance phases.
  • Analyze system requirements and lead design and development initiatives.
  • Assist users in defining requirements, suggest alternative solutions, and conduct feasibility assessments.
  • Provide technical guidance for integrating requirements, design, and technology, incorporating new plans and systems into ongoing operations. Generate technical documentation.
  • Create system architecture and design documentation. Facilitate system development and implementation planning through the preparation of system engineering management plans and integration/test plans.
  • Engage with government representatives regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and resolve associated issues or conflicts. Ensure the technical integrity of all work performed and deliverables in the Systems Engineering domain.
  • Communicate effectively with program personnel, government overseers, and senior management.
  • Manage system requirements and derived requirements to guarantee the delivery of production systems that align with defined system architectures, such as DoDAF and SOA.
  • Clearly define interfaces regarding origination, destination, stimulus, and data characteristics for software, as well as electrical and mechanical characteristics for hardware.

Qualifications:
  • Twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer.
  • Expertise in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Proven experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution. Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • IAT I Certification.
