Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality patient care to our residents. As a member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care, promoting a safe and supportive environment, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to residents, adhering to established policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations.
  • Conduct routine room checks to ensure residents' safety and well-being.
  • Assess and document observations, implementing appropriate interventions as needed.
  • Carry out instructions from supervisors and collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other nursing personnel.
  • Assist supervisors in care and management of the unit, maintaining supplies and equipment necessary for efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Ohio.
  • Current practical Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Familiarity with Point Click Care healthcare software.
  • Experience in geriatrics is preferred, but not required.
  • Leadership ability and a willingness to cooperate with department heads and personnel.
  • Good mental and physical condition.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to plan and direct good nursing care.
  • Patience, tactfulness, cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and ability to handle residents based on their current level of functioning.
