Responsibilities
We are actively seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. We welcome dynamic candidates who possess experience as an OR Circulator and also maintain proficiency in the role of a surgical scrub.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
- Continuously assess patient status throughout the perioperative care process.
- Develop a personalized perioperative care plan for each patient.
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Preferred: One year of experience in OR and/or medical/surgical nursing.
- Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
- Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of employment or proof of current certification.
- Completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or proof of current certification.
- Completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility's scope of services within 90 days of employment or proof of current certification.
- Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.
